We spent too long at McDonald’s struggling with this blog. Once on the road we quickly learned how much the wind affects RVs! We were going west and the wind was out of the south with gusts to 30-35 miles per hour. Going slower was helpful but it was still a challenging experience. We stopped at Wall and drove by Wall drug. It seemed to be the same huge tourist attraction that it was years ago when we were there. We didn’t go in so we are not sure.
We decided we should go on the badlands scenic route even though we declined it on the east end when we drove by it. Going back east was well worth it. The rock formations were amazing.
Then we stopped at the Vore buffalo jump. It was discovered when they were building I 90. It dates back to 1500 and was used to 1800. There a lot of buffalo jumps but it was interesting to see one that had been confirmed and excavated y Archeologists.
We spent the night in Gillette Wyoming. Heading out towards Great Falls Montana.
