We made it to the hot springs and it was fun. Pete and Janet rented suits I had mine and Bev wore leggings and a T shirt. The water was hot and not a very strong sulfur smell. We stopped at a place for cinnamon rolls that were very good. Bev asked for milk to go with it. They didn’t serve milk. “That is a luxury for us. We drive three and one half hours for groceries.” A different way of life.

Not a lot of scenery for photos again. I will post more later. Amazing and huge area with no telephone poles, side roads, billboards or houses. Some mountains in the distance. Mostly small evergreens and aspen with hills and swamps. Rivers big and small. Some lakes.

We dry camped at the hot springs in their “ overflow lot”. The camp sites were reportedly booked months ago because of the Victoria day long weekend. The drive to Watson Lake had lots of animals. Bear, woodlands buffalo, one caribou and mule deer. We saw lots of big horn sheep two days ago. Watson Lake has the famous sign post city. It’s an amazing collection of signs on lots of posts. They are primarily geographical signs from all over the world. Primarily from the United States. One was from Antrim county Michigan!

We were driving through beautiful mountains again with frozen lakes and trees that had not budded out yet. We drove down to Scagway. It was another beautiful drive with lots of snow covered mountains and lakes. We are staying downtown in a city RV park. Our plan is to look around here this am then on to White Horse.
